Well since this blog is called Night of the Unborn, where better else to start than an old live bootleg of Mercyful Fate from some time before the recording of Don't Break the Oath
?The recording's pretty shitty, audiophiles stay well away, but if you're an audiophile you probably shouldn't be on this blog to begin with. After the 7-track show (which includes a live version of 'Return of the Vampire') is a bunch of demo tracks from god know's where showing an earlier, less evil version of the band playing tunes like 'Truck Driver' and 'Love Zone'. And then finally some words from the man himself, King Diamond.

Of course, if you don't own anything from Mercyful Fate then their first EP and first two albums are highly recommended, find them new and used here.
